Rolesville has the smallest footprint of any town in Wake County and one of the fastest growth curves. For most of its history it was a crossroads on the road to Louisburg with a handful of streets around Main. In the last fifteen years, developers filled in around it with planned communities on what used to be farmland, and the fence market here changed with them.
