Willow Spring Fence Installation

Willow Spring is not a town in the municipal sense. It is an unincorporated community in southern Wake County straddling the Johnston County line, spread out along NC 42 and Old Stage Road between Fuquay-Varina, Garner, and Angier. That distinction matters when you fence here, because there is no town planning counter to visit. What applies to your property comes from county requirements and from what is recorded on your own plat, and it varies parcel to parcel more than it does inside a municipality.

Long runs and open ground

The typical Willow Spring job is bigger than the typical Wake County job. Lots run to an acre and up, tree lines and pasture are frequently part of the picture, and the fence has to cross grade rather than sitting on a flat builder pad. That changes the build. Long runs also mean gates get more thought than they do on a small lot. A single walk gate rarely covers it out here. Most of these properties need at least one opening wide enough for a tractor, a trailer, or a truck, and it is far cheaper to build that in than to retrofit it after the posts are set.

Materials and the ground they go into

Pressure-treated pine in a board-on-board or shadow-box build handles the yard proper, and shadow-box has a practical edge on exposed property because air moves through the fence line rather than pushing against it. That matters when a summer thunderstorm comes across open field with nothing to break it, and it matters again when the remnants of a tropical system track through. For the parts of the property that need containment rather than screening, agricultural and wire builds cover far more ground per dollar.
